digital camera dump

I have two cameras that I use-- my beloved Nikon DSLR, and my trusty, little Canon point and shoot. Sometimes when I don't want to lug around my Nikon-- like, oh I don't know, when I'm hiking up a mountain, I carry my Canon. I have my little Canon with me all the time because I keep it in my diaper bag/purse so that any time a Kodak moment pops up, I can capture it.

Many times I forget to upload the Canon pictures onto my computer, so when I do it's just a big pile of miscellaneous pictures from many different days and activities.
So, without further ado, here is my digital camera dump.

On the 4th of July we woke up with absolutely no plans for the day, so on a whim we decided to drive up to NC to the Pisgah National Forest to visit Turtle Back. It's a small waterfall that over time has become a sliding rock. You can slide down it into deep water. It's super fun. But it's not super fun when you try to slide down head first and then chicken out in the middle of it and face plant. Yeah, that's not fun. But I didn't do that. Because I'm no chicken.

My husband is thebomb.com. He hiked up to Turtle Back with a ginormous pack on his back and a baby on the front. The girl had a ball. We even let her slide down the rock all by herself!

Just kiddin'.

We took Megan out for Sushi the weekend before all of the wedding festivities....

Last, but certainly not least, my aunt and uncle and cousins were driving through Greenville on their way home from Atlanta and we met up at Atlanta Bread Company. Now that I'm typing that out, it's pretty funny to me. They left Atlanta only to eat at Atlanta Bread. Ha. Oh well.
Lael loves her cousins. She lights up when they come around, and I'm so impressed at Thomas and Emily's confidence and ability in handling a baby. It's pretty crazy to me that they are holding my baby because I remember like it was yesterday holding the two of them. Makes me stop and realize how quickly children grow up.

Speaking of, if I had a quarter for every time someone has said to me,
"I remember when mine were that little! Enjoy it because it goes by so fast.",
I could buy diapers for a year.
