We couldn't let the summer go by without Trey seeing his girl in the sand and surf.
Our sweet friend, Meredith, was so kind to host us and our fellow Greenville-ian friends in her home on St. Simon's Island, Georgia for the weekend. All of them were last seen in the most recent edition of the Digital camera dump.
Abbey, Meredith, Trey and I all went to college together, and we are so thankful for these lasting friendships.
Abbey and Dan
We got to veg out on Sea Island for three glorious days. We seriously couldn't have had more fun. Good friends, good food, great memories made.
Lael had her fill of Daddy time.
I adore my husband. That's pretty much an understatement.
When he's with Lael and me he really takes responsibility for her and gives me a break. One of the many reasons why I love him.
While on the beach he said, "Babe, don't worry. I'll take care of her. You just lie back and enjoy the sun."
Um, okay. THANKS!!
He genuinely enjoys being with her, and she can't get enough of him. You don't have to ask me twice to hand her off to her Daddy.
The only drawback of this is that by the end of the day filled with infinite Daddy time, I become chopped liver. I got these pictures though, so in the end, I win. :)
A couple of months ago Trey taught Lael how to kiss.
"Kiss kiss" = mouth wide open, tongue halfway sticking out.
We probably ask her for a "kiss kiss" about 50 times a day.
