Have you ever taken a road trip with a 2 year old and an infant?
It's a pretty intense time.
Someone either pooped, needed to poop, or wanted to eat.
When I think about it, my life pretty much revolves around these two things:
eating and pooping.
Megan and I drove from Greenville to Orlando to visit our aunt, uncle and cousins for a lil' spring break. We were some girls gone wild, if you will. ;)
We got to put on our babin' soups, as Lael likes to say, and got our tan on for the first time this season. My Aunt Nancy and Uncle Robb basically live in their own little lake front, private oasis...
This was Lael's second time in Orlando.
You can see her first visit here.
Hoo-boy... how cute is my cousin, Brady? Watch out, ladies.
Great Aunt Nancy with the babes
We visited Green Meadows Farm in Kissimmee- a farm where you could pet all of the animals!
We got to go on a hayride with Aunt Nancy and Annalee...
... and a little choo-choo train
and I got to milk something other than myself for a change...
That morning when we were getting ready I told Lael we were going to a farm and that we were going to get to pet some animals. As if that's not cool enough, she asked me if we would be able to see a fire truck. The child is obsessed. No, Lael. There will not be a fire truck at the farm.
Lo and behold...
there was a fire truck.
At a farm.
I am pretty much the luckiest mom in the world to have this gal as my sis. She's no ordinary aunt. This woman keeps me sane when I think I might pull my hair out on a an 8 turned 10 hour trip to the sunshine state.
Yes, my child has her lips on a dirty baby duck.
No, I did not know this at the time.
This is one frame prior to Ruthie grabbing this duck by its neck...
annnnnnnd, we're done with the duck, sweet girl.
A fabulous time, in a fabulous place, with fabulous people!
Thank you, Chapin family for having us!
