How far along? 21 weeks and 2 days. See here my 21 week picture with Lael.
Total weight gain/loss: + 5 lbs.
Maternity clothes? That’s pretty much all I wear. I love maternity clothes. They’re so comfy.
Stretch marks? nope
Sleep: Sleep is okay. I’ve already started sleeping with a pillow between my knees. Something about it helps keep my body aligned, and that helps my back from hurting.
Best moment this week: Ummmmm… I dunno.
Movement: Lots of movement. I’m just so confused about what position she currently is in. At 16 weeks she was completely breech, and at 20 weeks she was head down. Now I’m feeling kicks and punches that make me think she’s moved again. At this point with Lael the movement was a lot stronger and more frequent. My doctor told me that this time my placenta is anterior, which means that it’s in between the front of my belly and and the baby. This makes it more difficult for me to feel her moving around.
Cravings: McDonald’s chicken nuggets and fries, crab legs, Cheetos… I know. Super healthy. But I indulge myself. And I savor every little unhealthy morsel.
Gender: Sweet, sweet girl
Labor Signs: No labor signs, but the braxton hicks contractions have started. Not a shocker though because I had them a lot with Lael.
Belly Button in or out? Innie
What I miss: A TAN!!!! Oh my dear. I don’t think I’ve been this white since the day I was born.
What I am looking forward to: I guess it would be my next appointment at the beginning of March.
Weekly Wisdom: No wisdom here really, just some random thoughts.
Remember when I said that I would rather have a head cold than be nauseous? Well, I have been fighting a sinus infection for about a month now. As soon as I got over the morning sickness, I got a cold and then an infection. Sheesh. BUT, my previous statement still stands.
Also, I’ve realized that the second pregnancy has been a bit harder on my body than the first. I feel like I’ve already started to slow down. I’ve begun walking with a slight waddle. I try not to, but sometimes I can’t help it. 🙂
Milestones: We are over halfway there! Unbelievable.
